Meet The Management Team

Ilias Kantzos was head of Investment Banking at National Bank of Greece from September 2019 until recently. Before that he has worked in International Wealth Management at Credit Suisse in Zurich, in Investment Banking at NBG Securities in Athens and in Global Markets at Deutsche Bank in London

Ilias holds:
1. Executive MBA, University of Chicago Booth School of Business
2. MSc in Mathematical Trading and Finance, City University of London - Cass Business School
3. BSc(Diploma) in Business Administration, Athens University of Economics and Business

Konstantinos joined NBG Securities in 2014 and now holds the position of General Manager.

His prior experience includes Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Derivatives Trading and Equity Research at NBG Asset Management, P&K Asset Management and Megatrust Securities.

Konstantinos holds a Bachelor's in Business and Economics from Middlesex University and a Postgraduate Degree in Finance from Birkbeck College.

Lefteris joined NBG Securities in February 2016 as Executive Director – Head of HR & IT Division, and in January 2017 was appointed Executive Director of Support Functions. His prior experience includes: Director of HR and Internal Audit at Hellenic Exchanges Group, Manager - Management Consulting Services Ernst & Young, IT Manager Hellenic Investment co., Software Engineer Computer Logic.

Lefteris holds a M.Sc. in Computer Science from Dundee University, UK.

Nikos joined NBG Securities in 2007 as Regional Manager - Heraklion Branch and in 2015 was appointed Network Assistant Manager. In 2019 he became Director of Retail Sales. Before joining NBG Securities he worked in P&K Securities as Head of Heraklion Branch. 

Nikos holds a B.Sc in Economics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and a M.SC in Marketing.

Harry has joined NBG Securities as head of Institutional Trading in March 2022.
In the past, he has worked as an FX and Money Market Trader for Barclays Bank and Societe Generale. He has worked in Equities and Institutional Desks since 2000 and prior to NBG he has worked for Eurobank Securities, Investment Bank of Greece and AXIA Ventures as a Managing Director. He holds a BSc in Management and MA in International Relations.

Andreas is the head of Proprietary Trading and Market Making Department of the company.
Andreas joined NBG Securities in 2006 as a head of Derivatives Market Making Department. His prior working experience includes corresponding positions at P&K Securities and Metrolife Securities-member of Commercial Bank of Greece. Within previous positions, Andreas has served as Managing Director at large multinational insurance groups operating in Greece, engaged in sales of complex financial products and mutual funds. Andreas holds an MSc in Financial Markets and Derivatives from London Metropolitan University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economic Science from Piraeus University.

Spyros joined NBG securities in January 2022 as Head of Business development unit.
His prior experience includes Investment Product management, Private banking Investment Strategy at Optima Bank. For several years, Spyros worked as a senior derivatives trader at Optima bank and Eurocorp securities. Spyros Holds a B.Sc. in Media Science from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.

Maria joined NBG Securities in 2015 and holds the position of the company’s Data Protection Officer (DPO).
She holds a Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in International and European Financial Law. In addition, she has received education in General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Compliance and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) legal frame. In the past she has worked as a lawyer for law offices and banks.
